We’re very pleased to announce that fresh from an epic 500-mile bike ride from London to Paris in aid of Cure Leukaemia, Connectr’s Strategic Lead for Talent – Simon Reichwald – will be speaking at this year’s ISE Student Recruitment Conference & Awards.

The event offers a unique two-day experience where ambitious delegates can discover, learn, celebrate, and shape the future together.

The conference is taking place at The Grand Hotel in Brighton and will also be streamed to delegates online. The panel discussion takes place on the second day of the conference (28th June) from 10.50 am to 11.35 am.

Alongside speakers from three Connectr customers, British Airways, Atkins, and Cognizant, Simon will be focusing on ways to identify the true success factors of early talent programmes and how businesses can deliver on them.  The three panellists are:

  • Melissa Kose, Emerging Talent Manager, British Airways
  • Katherine Dodge, Head of Early Careers, Atkins
  • Vanessa Soames, Early Talent Director, Cognizant

They will explore the big strategic success measures, why these are so often not achieved, and the key tools they use to deliver successful graduate and apprenticeship programmes and demonstrate the business benefits they provide, above and beyond filling roles.

The panel members will reflect on their own experience of nurturing early talent. They will also explain how Connectr for Candidates – a mentoring and early talent programme management software platform – has been key to their respective companies’ achievements.

Melissa Kose, Emerging Talent Manager at British Airways recently commented, “We introduced Connectr for our school engagement strategy to ensure students we engaged with at career events could be added to a talent pool and developed.”

“The platform is freshly laid out and it has many functions – our favourite are the job board, modules, and mentors. The reporting function is super handy for us to use too!”

In our next blog about the conference, we’ll be sharing insights discussed by Simon and the panellists – watch this space!
