Pax8 is one of the fastest growing private companies in the US and is now growing globally. Key to their continued fast business growth is making 6-monthly graduate-calibre hires – but competing for the best talent is tough and resource intense.

Culture fit is critical to a scaling business. To get the best fit talent for Pax8, they needed a new and more robust screening and selection process.

We spent time with the Pax8 team to understand the culture and what ‘good looks like’. This enabled us to:

  • Design a new final stage ‘Discovery day’
  • Shortlist down to 22 candidates
  • Improved the offer rate compared to the last intake

This years campaign improved Pax8’s application-to-hire conversion from 48:1 to 34:1, and a 50% conversion rate at final stage Discovery Day.

The Discovery day was a resounding success. We are all immensely grateful for the expertise shown by the team at Connectr, they brought real value and expertise to the Discovery day. It was a joy to watch them facilitating with the Pax8 team.

It was a day filled with joy. Tough, but encouraging and inspiring. Everyone brought their A Game and it was heart-warming to see your team enjoyed themselves too. We’ve had 3 candidate emails within an hour of the day ending, saying what a fantastic time everyone had.

We’ve made 6 offers, and another 2 under review.

I know how hard everyone has worked on this project and I’m immensely grateful for all the effort and hard work that has gone into producing this day. I know we are a demanding client that moves at lightning speed, but your team embraced this, collaborated and leaned into our needs and way of working to support us.
