Thales: Retaining early talent through technology
Our partner Thales had a challenge for us – how could they reduce above-average renege rates for their graduate and apprentice programmes?

Using Connectr’s technology, Thales achieved just this.
We created a bespoke, branded version of Connectr’s candidate engagement platform for Thales, aimed at addressing recruitment and onboarding challenges by using technology to restore connections.
The platform allowed incoming employees to access always-on, engaging information about the company and their role – and, crucially, to interact with existing graduate employees and apprentices through a digital buddy network.
The result? Nearly 80% of incoming grads and apprentices signed up to the platform – and renege rates in 2019 dropped by a substantial 67% from the previous year.
